Red Energy Arena, Bendigo Q & A
Bendigo Stadium, recently renamed Red Energy Arena, have been a client of Adroit since 2019. We are proud of this long-term partnership and over the past four years have undertaken an exciting sponsorship opportunity with them. With the lead up to basketball finals and our own Bendigo Braves competing, we thought what better time to do a Q & A with them!
We spoke to Georgia Irvine, Partnerships Engagement Officer, to gain a better insight into Red Energy Australia.
How long has the Bendigo Stadium been a client of Adroit?
Bendigo Stadium Limited has been a client of Adroit since 2019, so we are heading into our 5th year of partnership.
Describe your partnership with your Risk Adviser and Adroit Insurance and Risk.
We really value our partnership with Adroit, they are fantastic to communicate with and we can talk with who we directly need too. Something that is important for BSL is that we are partnering with community focused organisations who want the best for the Bendigo sporting and local community.
How has your business grown / changed over the past two years?
Bendigo Stadium Limited has recently rebranded to Red Energy Arena thanks to our new naming rights partner, Red Energy. Coming out of almost two years of being closed due to public health orders, Red Energy Arena is in an exciting phase going from strength to strength with several sporting and entertainment events in the coming months. Red Energy Arena has over 15,000 people through its doors each week and is an important community asset for Bendigo. Having recently been announced as one of the hubs for the 2026 Commonwealth Games, we are excited to see what happens over the next few years.
What changes do you hope to see happen at the Bendigo stadium in the near future?
We are excited for venue development opportunities that may come for the Commonwealth Games, as well wider brand awareness for Red Energy Arena, one of the largest sport and entertainment centres in Regional Victoria. We are a family club boasting a restaurant and sports bar and look forward to utilising these facilities to their full potential.
What exciting events have you held there recently?
It’s been a big year at Red Energy Arena coming out of the pandemic. We’ve held major events including Guy Sebastian (4,000 guests), McKean McGregor Community Gala (850 guests), The Original Harlem Globetrotters (4,000 guests) as well as national sporting championships for basketball, volleyball and soon to be taekwondo and the FIBA World Cup Australia vs Iran. Red Energy Arena is the place to be!
We are proud of our partnership with Red Energy Arena and wish Bendigo Braves the best in the finals!
